Temporary workers, international students and approved permanent residents were put in exemption list to enter Canada on March 20th but these were not in effect until today i.e. March 26th.
IRCC has now announced that candidates who are exempt can now enter Canada but everyone will be assessed before leaving the port of entry. Everyone entering Canada MUST isolate for 14 days and this is mandatory requirement.
Expemtions:
Temporary foreign workers, as well as international students who have a valid study permit or who were approved for a study permit before March 18, 2020, and foreign nationals who were approved for permanent residence before March 16, 2020, but who hadn’t yet traveled to Canada.
